SINGLES
Apart from writing albums, I also release singles, some of which extend conceptually from the albums, while others are either collaborations with other artists, or separate pieces that I create as part of my exploratory practice.

Wrapped Around
Inspired by contemporary dancers’ practice of being Wrapped Around by long-sleeved jackets and dancing in different coloured socks, Wrapped Around is written for Ms Leia Ang’s choreography, Essentials, in dACADEMY Singapore’s annual dance production, BREATH 2024. Thank you Ms Leia for another wonderful collaboration!

Stargazing
What do you think of when you look up into the night sky? Written for dance, Stargazing describes the emotional release as one’s thoughts wander, while looking up into the night sky. In awe of how big the sky is, and realising we’re just a fraction of the universe. Embracing the feeling of doing nothing and thinking everything at the same time.

First Steps
You never know how far your First Steps could take you. One day, you’ll look back on them and realise how far you’ve come. Written for my first group choreography, First Steps explores the wonderment, discovery, and excitement of embarking on new journeys, not knowing where a road might lead you but finding the courage to take the road nonetheless.

The Little Things
What does leaving home sound like? Do you miss the little things? The Little Things is a piece dedicated to those of us who are living away from home, trying to find home in a new space. It isn't easy, but let's stay strong as we get through the tough times, while making lasting memories that will become "the little things" of the future. Hop over to my Instagram @haarpgirl for a short film.

Duality (Slower Version)
Duality, written for piano and harp, was first released in my first album, Stepping Stones (2020). This is a slower and shorter version of Duality, rerecorded specially for BREATH 2022, an annual dance production by dACADEMY Singapore, under the creative direction and guidance of Ms Ng Xian Cui. Duality tells the story of enjoying the best of both worlds - harp & piano, music & dance.

Liminal Spaces
Enjoying the mysteries of not-knowing; resisting the urge to constantly search for the answers to everything, embracing the ambiguity and grey areas. Getting comfortable with mystery. Written specially for BREATH 2022, an annual dance production by dACADEMY Singapore, Liminal Spaces was crafted under the guidance and creative direction of Ms Ng Xian Cui. Thank you Ms Cui for this amazing experience!

Solace
A single I hold close to my heart because it was my first track on Spotify. Written on the night before my harp examination to relieve the pre-exam stress, Solace reminds us to seek comfort in what we love, and I hope that listening to this piece will also bring you some consolation and comfort if you're having a rough time.
